The history of our parish is inextricably linked to the figure of Father Giovanni Di Stefano, a native priest of Monterosso Almo (RG) and the first pastor of this church. As Father Di Stefano wrote the Chronicle on the Parish, "having regard to the Church, a place of worship, SS. Trinity, I fell in love and feeling, now intimately tied to this church from then on you set to work to clean it and put it in a state of decency. On March 17, 1935 was the official custody "in the presence of HE Archbishop Ettore Baranzini" of the newly formed parish of SS. Trinity and San Marzano in Lentini. From that day seventy-five years ago the parish, with commitment valuable activities for the younger generations, families in need. Recalling the happy occasion of 75 years, the parish wants to draw new "Vitality" to do more and more their best to follow in the footsteps of teachers and witnesses, specifically, in a changing world.
